California State Historic Parks help to preserve the rich history of the Golden State. There are a total of 35 of these historic parks scattered across California. Unfortunately several of these parks are under the threat of closure due to a lack of funding. Each of these parks are a treasure with thousands of visitors each year including tourist and school children. Let us hope that none of these wonderful parks are closed and some way is found to keep them all open.
These parks include Bodie State Historic Park, Bodie State Historic Park, Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park, Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park plus many more. For a complete list of all California State Historic Parks follow this link.
