Hollywood is not just for tourists, locals can have just as much fun visiting this historic area of Los Angeles. In its prime downtown Hollywood was the place to be for movie stars and celebrities. Over the years the shine faded and the area became less than attractive. Today downtown Hollywood is undergoing a face lift with new attractions shops and restaurants. The just opened Madame Tussauds Hollywood:is a destination in its self. Other Hollywood sights are Grauman's Chinese Theater Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Wax Museum and the Guinness World Records Museum. And don't forget to take the movie stars home tour. All of these attractions are located along Hollywood Boulevard and are within walking distance of each other. If you decide to go a consider getting a Hollywood CityPass. This handy little booklet can save you about 50 dollars and is well worth having. Out of town visitors and locals can see the sights at a discount with Citypass.
