Lake Elsinore is the largest natural freshwater lake in Southern California. Most travelers along interstate 15 don't even give the lake a passing glance. From the freeway the lake looks almost dried up. Looks can be deceiving as Lake Elsinore is a thriving lake offering boating, fishing and water sports. A levee system keeps the lake smaller and fuller at a healthy 1200 foot. There are several marinas where you can rent jet skis and set up your RV.
