Camping Yosemite Valley

Many campgrounds Yosemite Park are seasonal. If you are planning on staying in the valley be sure to plan well in advance to get your reservation. Some sites accept leashed pets and all sites require strict attention to food storage due to bears and other wildlife.

Here is a list of places to campsites in Yosemite Valley :Upper Pines, Lower Pines North Pines and Camp 4 are located in Yosemite Valley. Within an hours drive of the park are many more campground. If you have waited until its almost summer, out of park camping is your best options

Upper Pines - Upper Pines is located near Curry Village in Yosemite Valley and is open all year. Reservations required for stays during March through November. The rest of the year is on a first come, first serve. There are 238 sites and RVs up to 35 feet and trailers up to 24 feet are allowed. Three of the sites are suitable for wheelchairs. There is a maximum of six people per site and each site includes a fire ring, picnic table and food locker.   Yosemite National Park campground list continues.
