Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park
Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is 37 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1, and 12 miles south of Pfeiffer Big Sur. The highlight of this small beach park is McWay Fall, which drops down a cliff onto the sandy beach. The falls and the rocky inlet is one of the most beautiful sights along highway 1. The water is too cold and dangerous for swimming but the view is priceless. On your next trip along the California coast be sure to stop and see this California treasure.
